hi all

i have been on this site for a long time but have only just got the engine into my car after rebuilding the car

this is my 1st turbo build

im going to run a max of 10psi of boost. the engine i have put together will only handle this

so my question is,

do i just run an uprated actuator/spring, rated at 10 psi? i realise it will be on boost at all times then. though the car wont be used every day, from what i understand 10 psi isnt a huge amount of boost to run

or do i run a standard actuator and bleed up to 10 psi when needed? im worred i will get carried away with this. saying that the car isnt going to be thrashed everywhere.

what are the pros and cons of either type?its quite straight forward but need to make sure things are absolutely clear in my mind on this.

many thanks

Don't bother with a bleed valve 10psi can be done with some more preload on the actuator. Control the boost with the right foot :)
