got a few problems that i need help with,

my engine is a 1275 suck through supercharger with hif44,

first problem the belt jumps off when the engine kicks over and runs breifly i have tried a small spacer behind the tensioner that is mounted to the charger to allin the tensioner but no lock still jumps off,

2nd problem, the engine will not stay running (idling)! i am getting fuel and spark,

3rd problem, there is a hole on the underside of the eaton45 which i am not sure if it needs to be blocked but it is sucking air in there and to get the engine running i have to block and unblock and repeat to get the engine to start and carry on running

The small hole is the servo vacum take off, hence why it wont idle when open. If you have to unblock it to keep the engine running you will be running far too rich on idle. I dont understand how the belt jumps off, dont you have pulleys and tensioner that as a lip to keep the belt on.

oh ok, so that has to be blocked? how is that done is there a rubber bung or a cap? to cover it?

also do you have to unscrew the hif44 mixture screw to weaken the mixture? (screw at the bottom on the side)

and my eaton 45 pulley (one on side) is the standard one that came with the charger my tensioner has no lips but my bottom pulley does,

my tensioner isnt sitting in the center of the belt because when i center it with the belt it jumps off the top pulley in the opposite direction

There is a push fit pipe that vmax Scart does, about £8, but you could make something. I my have my old one, from before I fitted servo Ill go have look. My tensioner had lips either side which was a much better idea, off somekind of ford. Yes uncrew mixture out for to lean off, but first have you increase idle revs by turning idle screw clockwise to open throttle slightly more? what engine spec, cam and needle are you using?

minispeed turbo head
decomplate
eaton 45
hif44
3 into 1 (heat rap)

doo you know what ford and what its used for

is it just a matter of blockining the servotake off then?

i turned the idle screw in quite a bit as well yes,

thed needle is a standard stage 1 mg one will get code shortly

Sorry I dont know which one. You are best speaking the stuart at Vmax Scart.co.uk he could sort you out with both. Does the engine run with your foot on the throttle? What cc in the cylinder head? and why run a decomplate? if you have a opened up head?

it works now,

using decom plate because the head wasnt opened up enough for the supercharger CR it would have been far to high

sorted the engine it runs when i want and idles ok but belt always jumps one way or the other i wound the screws on the carb in a bit and now it is running fine,

will have to do some hunting and find out about that tensioner

You sure the pulleys are lining up. Get a metal straight edge and check it. Also if the charger is on a angle won't that mess up the belt.
