hi can any one recomend a good plug for my 1380 turbo which will be running 12psi max.

my mate is running bpr 8es with no probs.

what are the champion one like and what number do i need to get.

the stable is slowly getting readey for the horse to go in so i need some arnswers soon.

a good start is CHAMPION, N9YCC

you may wish to go down one more grade colder than the above number.

if your mixture timing is spot on and only then if there are evidence of overheating

i think turbo dave has had some bad experiences with NGK?

turbo dave has put a list of plugs on for cross refrencing
do a search.

Yep, 7's will be fine for 12psi & more.

when you say 7's do you mean ngk bpr7es or bp7es or champion n7ycc

here's a pic of the NGK BP6ES i just took out of my engine, they're about 1000 miles old, i'm running 10psi, 8:1cr, 1293cc.


what do you reckon to the state of them? they look a lot more battered than the pic shows em. I've just put in a set of BP8ES, you reckon these will be alright? haven't driven it yet.

let us no how you get on, i ran 7es in my na 1380 with no probs so hopefully 8es's should be ok.
