Will be ordering a manual boost controller this week, been looking on ebay and there so many different ones at different prices, are some better than others? Will one of the cheaper ones do or is it worth paying more? Anybody got any preferences as to which is best? Thanks, benny! Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

After trying a couple of the so called "quality" manual boost controllers. I have decided that in my opinion a basic bleed valve is better.

We had a £20 one on the van. it didn't work well. As a result our piston rings didn't last long...

Looked on turbo phills site, he has a bleed valve for £10 and a boost controller at £25, which would you reccomend? I'm only turning the boost up a little at the moment as I have no intercooler, will also be getting one of his boost gauges Edited by bennyy on 8th Nov, 2010. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

He doesn't have the boost control kit anymore as it was a one off. Just go for one of his bleed valves. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
