there's only a few ways to tell, none of which are evident in your add.

As it's a 1330, it won't have the turbo pistons, so it makes no odds whether it was or wasn't, as the rest is pretty much the same as any metro engine.

It could be worth a few checks:

1. Is there a capital 'T' stamped on the top pface of the cylinder head in one of the corners ?

2. If you were to take the rocker cover off, you may be able to squint through to see the valves under the rocker pads.

The exhuast valves have a larger diameter stem than the inlet valves. Clearly you're not going to go diving in with a micrometer, but do the exhaust stems look visually bigger than the inlets ?

3. What is the engine serial number off the plate rivetted on the block ? It should start 12............ Someone on here can probably advise if it matches that for a Metro Turbo.

4. What is the distributor serial number off the side of the dizzy ?

Shame yours didnt sell. It probably would if you were able to confirm the answers to the 4 points above relate to a Metro Turbo.

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
