I have recently changed my mini engine for a metro engine, the engine number is 12h907aa
a metro a+ 1275

i'm unsure which dizzy i have in it but i no longer have points as i've bought an
electronic ignition kit off ebay

every thing else is standard (cam,rockers etc)

so my question is what ° btdc should my timing be at?

currently it's 13° btdc and i'm not sure where i got that from

please someone help

the haynes manual should tell you exactly what to do... and is it a turbo?

no it's not
but the haynes manual i have is for a mini not a metro

ive just used GOOGLE and found this quote which (to me) sounds right....

7 deg BTDC at 1000 RPM - with vac tube removed from dizzy.
