1987 Metro Turbo A+ Block for sale.

Standard bore, 41k miles, with bearing caps & bolts and very good CAM bearings fitted.
Hardly any wear ridge, bores are very good and honing marks are still visible.
I was tempted to just do a light de-glaze and drop a set of std pistons in but never got around to it. Would probably not require a rebore IMO.
Would be a great starter block for a new build.
Bearing caps have the correct centre tang slot in the lower cap to run plain lower turbo shell bearings. I think this bearing retainer slot is off to one side in usual non turbo blocks.
In view of the very good condition, I'm asking £70 please which is a bit more than the usual £50 for a good block.
This thing weighs 35kg so probably best to collect or wait until I could drop off at a show.
Alternatively, if you'd like it delivered, I'll get quotes but likely to be in the region of £15 for 2nd class UK delivery.
