hi all finally sorted my gear selector problems and thought ive give the car a run out. when i was driving it the car seemed fine but i think its running a bit rich im booked on the rollers this week so that will get sorted. but the problem is im not getting any boost what so ever. when i start the car it reeds -20 InHg and when im driving it rises to 0 and thats it. ive checked my actuator and its fitted with the wastgate closed and ive checked my boost controller and turn that right up and still nothing. oh ive got a 998 with a R5 T2 turbo

are you deffinately sure the wastegate is being kept shut? the actuator might be holding it open or it may have broke and with the slightest bit of boost it may open it?

You say 'mounted it closed'.

You need t preload the actuator arm. Meaning that you will need to adjust the arm until it needs to be 'stretched' when fitting.
