I've got small ratchet straps for putting stuff on the roof of the daily - wouldn't use anything else |

You'll be surprised how strong bunch cords are. They hold my materials on my vans roof rack going down the motorway. So don't rule them out. |

just watch with that rack as i manged to bend mine (which looked very similar to yours) when i tightened the straps up
