If you are so certain that all your measurments are within 1degree correct you're a better man than I am.
Advance it one degree extra to allow the chain to slack..

1 degree is NOTHING! Leave it.

just wanted to be dead on, the vernier does down to 2 degs adjustment so y i'll take the advice and leave it.
