I reckon that there are good and bad ones out there. In comparison, wintersurfers chinese rad was too efficient. On the way home from the rolling road day we pulled over as his temp gauge was showing over 120deg. After feeling that the top of the rad was stone cold we realised that it was the sender at fault. We removed the top cap and Joe was able to dip his finger into the Luke warm coolant. Admittedly it was a cool evening, but Paul isn't shy to use the right pedal and this was after over an hours driving. I think that the appeture in the wing with the rubber seal and the extra space under the clubman front helps matters too. I was well up to the job and his car is making around 150hp. So the 120hp+ statement above is not true. Obviously there are variables other than hp. Fair enough, posted edited oli On 18th Oct, 2013 apbellamy said:

Equally those symptoms sound like water isnt circulating properly, and the engine could well be very hot. 9.85 @ 145mph

, and forced the need for another partial rebuild I decided to upgrade-minispares super2 core rad+mech fan and maybe some additive, water wetter ect if it needs it. So having seen both rads side by side I noticed that
