are there people here who have modded there flywheel against fretting or getting stuck on there crank?

you need to lap the flywheel on the crank using valve lapping paste till you have a nice dark grey colour on the crank and flywheel then theres no fretting in the future.

i looked for a puller for ages, but most come with 'hook' legs which i wasnt too keen on

I managed to pick up an original churchill one off ebay for under 30quid,

when this thread popped up originally I was racking my brains to think where I had seen heavy duty pullers recently, just found them again.... Kad do them
