I don't know if anything like this has been done before so apologies if it has! :$

but was thinking of getting members to post up a few pics of their turbo mini or metro! engine bay pic, the spec and some power figures....

just to see who's running what, and will give new members like myself ideas on what specs work well, where people have mounted and routed intercoolers and which components people are using and recommend etc etc

So who's first to start?! *happy*

For what it's worth....

Not yet finished..........

1360 TSCi (Turbo Siamese Code injected)

73mm offset bored, Hypatech pistons, Benross head, standard T3 with 50mm stainless downpipe and all the way through, dual wideband sample system, Megasquirt siamese coded fuel injection, intercooler from a Mondeo, front rad from Metro Mk1 (maybe to be replaced with Fiat Cinq), all fits under a clubman flip front that "flips" backwards over the windscreen.

Estimated output (when it's finished) 120bhp on current single 1000cc injectors at 0.3bar. Intended output 180bhp at 1bar with siamese code staged injection (1x680cc and 1x1000cc injectors per runner)

Standard Metty Turbo engine with an RS Turbo I/C, dump valve and running about 12psi. Will let you know power next spring after a R/R! If std metro was 93(?) bananas @7psi I guess I should be pushing 100ish?

i'd say a little more, most metty engines in mini's dont run an ecu, which means a constand boost of 4psi, mine made 96bhp completely standard

1310cc 14cc dished accralite pistons, phase2 cam, 9psi boost, 7.9CR, lot of headwork done, standard metro turbo carb, FMIC, megajolt, 1.5 roller rockers, lightened flywheel etc. unsure on power but with 9psi on my old engine build (1360, 8.8cr) it had 140ish bhp and 133 lbps torque. YET to discover what its getting this time, more than likely less at same boost, but you never know :)
