Hi all Ive been having problems with my volvo latley in that it runs fine but now and then nothing happens when you turn the ignition. If you hold the ignition on eventually it would kick and start.

it does nothing when you turn on the ignition ( ie the dash and lights dont light up)

I once had something like this with a Nova. It turned out to be the ignition switch - after cleaning out all the gunge it never happened again.

The battery has full charge. Once you get the first click lights radio etc come on fine, second click nothing not even trying to start..its a 2.4 petrol. Left me clueless I will try those. Cheers |

second that, with this cold i bet its just making a dodgy contact on the spades on it. happens to a lot of cars ive had.
