1st to provide proof of a running Bimmy Conversion!

Brisbane ,Australia

had a couple of laps saturday,,, the rest of the weekend was pretty-well a wash-out with rain

a bit too much wheel spin up the hills & probly should have plucked third up near the top of the loops, but still first time there with this buggy & slicks just sorting a base time to work from (Borrowed the wheels & tyres too so i didn`t really feel like binning them into the rock wall)

gwetting a bit of float bowl surge coming out of the corners too so i`ll have to sort that

ended up 6th outright i think,,, more to come with some practice & 13" fronts next year (some bigger balls down the hills would probly help too) *smiley*

Colas, thanks mate & the camera is a "Vhold Contour HD", wonderful things *smiley*

Ben H,,, no the meeting didn`t stop, they just declared it a "wet" meeting so no slicks allowed, besides i didn`t really want to get all wet anyways *smiley*

Advantage, yes my trusty old Duel-Cab kombi ute with the quad cam 32v injected alloy V8 up it`s bum carrys my buggy around quite well *smiley*

I had a run at a friend`s race track a couple of days ago, did some testing with different tyres & pressures & cam timings & wing heights & angles, so we got quite a lot of data to play with , but still here`s just one session on vid from the roll-cage

sorry about the poor angle & the wind noise, Gaz couldnt set-up a camera properly even if you paid him *smiley*
cheers

Oh!!! & with the cam timing changes coupled with wing changes allowed us to finally hit the rev limiter in top gear,,, 6th gear @11,000-ish is pretty quick *smiley* *smiley* *wink*
