Hi I am gaz and from the Bury Gtr Manchester area. I co own/run MD Customz with my fiancee Emz who owns Minbin a 1980 998cc a series mini.

We are looking into turbo charging him next year as he is due a rebuild and Emz is impressed with the turbo figures etc.

A bit about Minbin. He won loudest exhaust at the uttoxiter show this year and has appeared in mini world and mini mag under members rides. Even in the most recent mini mag out labeled as unique styling in the members section.

His style is forever changing.

With out wanting to sound like a tw@, your car makes me feel sick.

Thanks for the honesty but there is a larger audience of people who beg to differ. Each to their own eh :)

I hate pruists who polish their car for hours and chrome everything and have to make there mini a cooper replica which in effect isn't a personal touch it's just a look.

Not to conform to the "scene" trends is key to being noticed for individuality.

The car is known everywhere it goes and always positive comments follow. Even people on the street and other drivers pass positive comments.

i like what you done, it has potential.

if it were mine i would do a different frill, and remove the spoiler, remover the sound system, and cage it, and paint the cage bright orange like the wheels,

oh and big turbo power :p

I polish my car for hours but it would still be considered very individual and unique.

Like you said, each to their own but that also means not making sweeping generalisations about others aswell I also don't really think there is a 'scene' trend and that is coming from someone who rides in a Nato green Scamp

Like you say, each to their own, it's not my cup of tea either.

But I'm not a purist either, what I'm doing is seriously modified but in the engine department rather than the looks department.
