Minisport sell them and not too expensive: I can't vouch for the quality though as I've never used them

Thanx guys,

hadn't tought of Guessworks, seems like a good deal. Minisport doesn't have the 1st motion in stock.

Also found this . they seem to be new.

But maybe some of the forum members has a kit lying around?

I also have new sets available, just waiting for the laygears to arrive which is why they are not in the shop...

NOS A+ version of the 1st motion DAM3167, with an A series 22G1040... getting hold of a NOS DAM3168 laygear is like looking for hens teeth.

I had to put one of these sets into a customer box ( customer supplied the parts ) when they first arrived... rough is what I'd call them, the finish was poor eg burrs on the edges where the splines had been cut for the input gear.. Don't know where they were made

As far as I'm aware I there are no NOS DAM3168 anymore :) (that's what Somerford Spares told me anyway)

I've got a spare close ratio gearbox with a DAM 3168 laygear in.
I'm undecided about rebuilding or selling on.
It's gonna take a bit to prise it away from me.
