Were just in the process of a resto on a sportspack mini for a customer and wandered if you guys can help.
Usually when you unscrew them it undo's from the arch as the little 8mm's rust up, so what ive done in the past is then hold the arch end with molegrips after soaking in wd40 and manage to get them undone.
Then wind them on and off a few times so they are free then just bond them back into the arch.

Now all these are that bad that there just snaping. Ive looked on minispares site and found these

Thing is it just looks like thredded bar so im not bying that.
Does anyone no if or where i can get the proper things or if the minispares ones are right but just with a shit pic????

when some of mine came out, i bonded them back in but used two nut locked on the stud to screw them back in. Havent had a problem.

is it the best option..... probably not.

Cant help on the minispares thing, sorry.

Hi Rick, our picture is right, Rover realised the problem that you're having and started fitting a metal rivnut into the arch so you can screw these studs in. You can't buy the original type fitted on original cars, the only option is to bond them in.
