hi lads i'm buildin a turbo engine, need piston rings where will i get turbo ones or will standard 1275 ones work??? On 5th Jan, 2011 wolfie said:

There are no specific turbo rings. You get what suits the pistons. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I presume you mean rings for Metro turbo pistons. If so you will only be able to get them from Totalseal apparently. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

I haven't got any at hand, but are the Metro Turbo rings narrower than the regular Metro ones? On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

i've no clue... my pistons are in a block... just gettin a re-vamp over the winter... tink i have it sorted,

If you get stuck, I have a new set of +.020 BL Metro Turbo Pistons and new rings on a set of used Metro Turbo rods.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

whilst on the topic of piston rings, where can i get rings that overlap, i think it is the compression ring that does not have the gap. have look on minispares but could not find them |
