*rant*..ish on volvo error mesages

ok so i blew a fuse on the rear window washer during 'The Big Freeze' and whilst changing the fuse i managed (like a twat) to remove the wrong one i thought ahh well car is off cant upset anything only to be met by 11 ecu errors when i turned it back on.

An ecu reset by pulling the battery for 20 mins cleared all but one, the srs service urgently required ( airbag ecu) probably the most important one and apparently this can only be reset by main dealer and will cost me some of my (currently very limited) mini fund

so anyway now i have a message on the screen about this and a nice red triangle in my face whilst im driving

it was a bloody seatbelt sensor fuse i pulled why does every thing have to bloody talk to each other in these new fangled things on wheels
meh and the window washer still doesnt work :(

cant see how it can be a dealer only jobby, but im not really clued up on the re-setting. We have the diagnostic stuff at work but its a touch too far really

Lol I had the same mate, it is a Volvo only job, but only cost about £20 mate so don't fret too much. If you do anything electrical on that car make sure you take the battery off first.

i found the police fusebox too, there must be 100 unused fuse holders on this car

yeh i remembered about you warning me too but still didnt think a fuse would matter :(
