Hello,
I just signed up to learn about megasquirt and megajolt. I have a MED1293 turbosprint in my Midas convertible with lots of mods on it. But I can't get the timing and fuel consumption right. I've heard a lot of these new systems and am very interested to find out how it works to get the most out of my engine. Here's a short vid of my car:

I have to say, that after this vid I found out the overpressure valve in the intake manifold still working. This was killing the power when the boost (14psi) came in. That's blocked now, so it's a lot quicker.
I have cured the heat problem although in traffic jams the brake lines get too hot, I'll be installing a Renault 5 turbo fan to cure this. Also too much play on the crankshaft and I want to replace the straight cut drop gears with quieter ones and want to replace the 3.1 diff with a 2.9. So when I have all the bits the engine will come out (again) for overhaul and upgrade.
