I am just refitting the injectors on my HDI engine and the torque setting for the nuts is 4Nm then turn 60 deg.

That is great, but my wrench only goes down to 20Nm.

Does anybody have any advice about how I could get round this with what I have? (apart from spending 50 notes on a new wrench) Or is anybody local to me with such a tool?

Cheers

A small spring force gauge, and apply 4 Newtons to a bar of 1 metre length? Or otherwise calculate it to the length of your bar?

Or just nip em down and take a chance?

That was my plan. I am not sure it is a critical as it might first appear.

More or less, I have done it now and it seems ok.
