Hi all,

I just wanted to pick your brains about general suspension setup not specifically for a mini, my daily drive.

What are the general effects of too much front and too much rear camber?

I run a 300d touring and I had to replace the springs as I have one snap in the middle! which was a bit of a shock, thankfully it happened during the night, not on the m62. In my haste to get the car back on the road for work I had an ebach kit fitted which lowered the car. The guys that I take my car too to use a hunter machine however they only have one setting for the car, because its lowered I was thinking that the original factory settings esp if they are on the outer limits would bee a tad too extreeme. I had to replace a tyre due to damaging the sidewall and the inner edges were badly worn, I understand this could be too much camber or toe or too lower tyre pressure?

I'm just wondering what the car fells like if you run too much? I'm guessing that its a bit more eager to turn it and in the straight ahead position going over bumps will feel a bit more skittish?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for any help
Graham

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

or toe out at the rear (which would also cause very eager turn in and nervousness at speed) i assume all your rear suspension bushings are in order?

Denis I believe so however I have read that they are very sensitive to soft rear bushes.
