Hi am fairly new to the turbo mini scene. I have just bought a 1293 turbo engine and the only part i need for it is the actuator. I have seen a high boost actuator from avonbar that i am interested in getting but does anyone what the rod length is from the actuator to the waste gate? Thanks Dan. |

The rod should be just shorter tha allowing it to fit over the pin -this means you need to tension the spring by pulling the rod away from the actuator to get it to fit. The usual starting point is half a hole away from just fitting. You can increase maximum boost by pre -tensioning more, but take it easy ! |
