possibly mine you are thinking of, although i do remember someone else on here having a nice shiny silver once which seemed to fit the grill gap almost perfectly so might be that one you are thinking of.

The TD5 intercooler sucks. If you take a look inside it, the only reason it works is because of its physical size. There is very little internal area. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Is it really that bad Dave? I couldn't find that much about it on here only that jimster had good results? What would be a good direction to go? I really do not want holes in the bonnet and I don't want to be able to see it once finished and I have inner wings.

I would have thought the large frontal area would have acted as an advantage over a deep, narrow one of the same volume. Or are the airways (or whatever their called) a bit on the small side? I'm in a similar position to dan, I'm on the look out for a nice intercooler to go behind the grill as I'm not a fan of my cossie cooler install, I'm thinking of moving my distributer somewhere else and getting a smaller altenator, where is the best place to put the dizzy? Put the dizzy in the bin and get megajolt. You can't move them as they run from a sprocket on the cam through that particular hole in the block. Edited by apbellamy on 5th Jan, 2011. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I missed that post lizard! I have a mk1 grill, how much does it need spacing? Is it noticeable? I just don't want it to look any different.
