Hiya,

I've looked on the search function but cant find anything. I have bought a head that does not have the hole tapped for the temperature sensor so I need to drill and tap the hole. Does anyone know what size it is? I've tried a 5/8th UNF tap but it doesn't seem quite right.

You need a tapered tap, as the hole is not straight through. It's tapered so the sensor nips up in the hole to seal.
