Hi has any 1fitted roller rockers without doin the head gasket? Does it work? Thanks scott |

I've done it a couple of times. Got away with it once didn't the other. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

i have never had any problems..... as there is enough. tension with the remaning front head studs

Out of principle i would change it due to it being de compressed at certain points. Its not much work to swap over a head gasket.

I,ve done it several times - just drain the water, take the tension off all the head studs and then re-torque afterwards -never had a problem. |

The only reason I was wondering is I havnt got a head gasket to hand & I prob not get 1till after xmas now so thought I mite get away without doin it |

Ive done the same and got away with it in the past. but if your N/A its not that much more work is it? I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Its a metro turbo so plenty room for working so not that much of a head ache either way |
