hiya well im danny im 17 and have three minis im on tmf and as mini danny same as on here well i one day just wanted a mini and 6 months down the line i have 3 i can say i ahve defo got the mini bug and now ive got the turbo bug i have only one mini on the road at the mo as it always is with the minis my first mini is a 1987 mini mayfair pic below


and then i wanted a project and got this beauty a clubman estate with a 1293 egine 1:5 rockers straight cut box lightened flywheel ect and well i want to turbo it yes your proberly saying your 17 you wont get insured well it wont be on the road for about 2 years if anyone has any turbo bits im sure someone does drop me a pm

and my final project i was given it off a old boy his granddaughter i knew said she knew of one sitting rotting away so i jumped at the chance off lookig and offers a bit of dough got there was the usall rust every where i take someone money out and said how much you want for her then and he turns and said i dont want anythink you can have her if you promise me one thing when she all shiny and back on the road youll bring it here to show me so i agreed towed her home and straight away had my head under the bonnet trying to get her run little tweaks here and there and vrooom she started :) well shes got a 998 at the mo ( which is up forsale if anyone needs one drop me a pm) looking to 1380 it and mk1 rep her

So when you crash or are involved in an accident and your insurers find you have undeclared engine mods and void your insurance you'll earn yourself between 6-12 points, probably a ban and will unlikely get insured again. I'd stick with a standard engine until you can afford the insurance on a modified car.

Harsh but true.

yes i see where your coming from i would declare it as i would be scared about crashing her just incase i said the same about my red one but then relised it was the wroung decision :/

edit: my red mini has all mods delcared and i relised it would be stupid to doo

welcome to the forum buddy, really like your mayfair, much love for the starmags.. proper love them wheels, regret selling my set everytime i see some on other minis! ha.. love the estate aswell, what colour is that? iv got a clubman bonnet in that colour and always thought it looked good.
