Ok then what dial gauges and base have you boys got as i am looking for one. I am not looking at spending lots of cash on one.

I got one from machine mart, with a mag stand, very good quality and not pricey either.

tbh, cheap ones off ebay are actually pretty good, we have a few of them at work, as well as a few more expensive ones and they're pretty much the same. The better ones are slightly smoother in operation, but for 99% of jobs this wont matter at all..... And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

+1 for ebay one here when used it for the cam timing earlier this year. seems ok I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

ours is a quality 2nd hand, had it calibrated in '07 sometimes for quality tools older is better, Yes i moved to the darkside |

Don't worry about it Simon. You don't tend to pay attention to the digits after a while you just look at the movement of the needle about zero.
