got a few inertia switches today out of mondeos, from the breakers..

where do you guys recommend fitting them or where have you fitted them?

and just to check, do they wire up inline with the fuel pump + connection?

cheers,
adam.

i'd fit it in the same place as where you removed them

i'd imagine you could wire up through the relay for the pump for sure, don't know about on the actual +ve connection, i'm sure someone else can confirm this

Mount it somewhere solid, the bulkhead is the best place, just make sure you can get to it easily
Connect it inline with the feed to your fuel pump/fuel pump relay

All fuel injected Fords have them in either the left, or right, A-Pillar. Mondeos are on the left hand pillar, just above where the bottom hinge is. I mount mine onto the pedal box - but any point on the bulkhead will suffice!
They aren't high current - so you need to wire them via a relay.
