I was wandering if anyone could turn up two rings for me out of either aluminium or steel?

They need to be 6" external diameter by 5 1/2" internal diameter by about 1/2" wide (width not overly critical as long as it's the right ball park)

Could also get them cut from 1/2" sheet with a water jet.

Sourcing stock to lathe them might be hard in such a large diameter.

I know a guy who could cut them no probs and post them out. I think he's a friend of Hedgemonkey's on here, or at least he mentioned him ages ago.
He's cut a few bits and pieces for me in stainless and aluminium

Rod ,i have a pile of blank circles but i'm not sure how close to 6" they are, theya re not far off, i'll have a look tomorrow if i remember and let you nkow,

They're to clamp an old lens from a theatrical light, a bit of an odd one I know.
