Did you ever sort a spit Matty?

I'm looking in to it but have height issues in the garage and think it may restrict rotation.

I made one up for when I stripped the woody down and I was surprised how little room it took up rotating the shell. I don't recall it really took any more room than when it was sitting upright.

a couple of builders metal tressles and a length of 5" sq timber (don't ask me where Keith got it from but it was long enough and we had it already!) a scaffold pole and a couple of brackets will do the same thing
