Hi, does anyone know where i can get aerosol car paint that will give a textured / stippled effect.. been searching the web for a while but without luck.. guess im not using the right terminology.

Cheers Ross, almost what im after but on a bigger scale im intending to do the inner arch in it.. so it could do with being a bit more stippled.

Im starting to think i have made this up.. sure i have seen it used on a car on this site - in the boot maybe ??

Mark, are you after a can of stone guard that you can paint over, obviously not aerosol form .

If its any help my boot floor done in stone chip and then painted:-



It does set hard, quite a hardwearing cost effective finish IMHO.

You can either get it in aerosol or canister form, canister is miles better and puts loads more on.

You dont want the shultz unless your covering a grotty bootfloor but thats not to be painted over.

I used Gravitex on the floor of my mini and then painted over it. Looks spot on and is wearing alot better than just paint alone.
