I think you will need to tell us exactly what the turbo is. There are lots of cosworths.

A small turbo escort belive its a t25 as far as what I have fitted not to sure gonna take it off this week very laggy thou

Just because it might be a T25, doesnt mean that the turbo is 'small' Certainly the T25 fitted to the late escort Cosworth was smaller than the early T3, but its still big when considering its use on a 1.3 A series. The early Escort cosworth used a laggy (when talking about the escort) T3 with an A/R of 0.60. Not sure what the late Escort cosworth A/R was. The escort Cosworth T3 on a 1.3 A series would be just ludicrous

Basically, A Metro Turbo T3 was considered 'laggy' so anything bigger will be even more so.

Yes. Look at GT1752, TD04 or if you want something a bit bigger GT2056

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
