Under 500kg weight, at least 200bhp, slicks. Thats only a guess, maybe less weight and more power would be required to make it happen.

Or resort to unconventional methods like steve, have you considered rocket power ala top gear?

See here for ideas http://www.mini7.co.uk/migliacar.asp.

Would appear that tyres, traction, and final drive choice is the key rather than mega horsepower

Much discussed on the forum, Migs DO NOT get to 60 in anything like 4.5 seconds.

I'd say you could beat a Focus RS. Check out this video & watch Nic blitz one !
Granted Nics car is one of the quickest Minis around ....

A good Mini will easily beat a Focus, they dont do 4 sec 0-60 either

I seriously doubt it!

I got rinced my wolfies mini in a e90 330 that ran a smidge over 6sec to 60 at pod. Its possible i recon but driver tyres weight and power. Not an easy task at all.

friend of mine has a focus rs (the purple/blue one) he had modded it and was running 1.5bar of boost managed a good 305bhp and ran a 14.6 1/4mile which is a good speed but most turbo minis can hit this target. i got a 15.6 with 110bhp without flooring it in 4th :)

Our turboed metron van beat a focus RS at Avon last year, by nearly half a second. That only runs 150BHP, so it's easily doable in your car.
