Found these 2 puppys today and dont know what to do with them.
Dont want to say what breed they are.

What would you do ?

Cant let these get in the wrong hands and if I hand them over to RSPCA - they may end up being put down.

if you feel like that keep them.

While they are a living feeling being, if there is no one to look after them, they will forage for themselves, and in our current society they would be considered a pest. Its not your reponsability unless you make it so, and if you feel strongley enough to make it your responsability, you have to take on everything that goes with it. Otherwise accept the fact that if no one else wants to take on the responsability after you have gone to the RSPCA, that they might nd up being put down.

Like I said, harsh as it is, if thats the way it has to be then thats fine with me. These animals are not endangered, and niether are us humans, so why do we do so much for them when there are far more endangered species nearing extinction? I know where I put my charities. Please dont think I am an evil, thoughtless, emotionless person, as you couldn't be more further from the truth. Thats all I will say about it.

These dogs are saft as a bottle of pop, my auntie has 4, and we used to have one that looked remarkably like the one on the right, she had complications and passed away as a pup. Theyre tough as nails and have a love for humans, its how some are bought up that determines what the dog is like. Thier reputation couldnt be further from the truth.

They look Staff to me and the noses seem quite long and squared which to me suggests pitbull. I used to have a StaffxPit and she was soft as shit, utterly adorable and very loyal. She was excellent with other dogs and people and kids loved her, she used to sleep on the bed with me.

However, like you say, if the RSPCA/Police got an inkling of what they were then they would be put down. The fact they were possible abandoned doesn't help their case. Do what you think is right, if you want to keep them then do so and if not then hand them over to a rescue centre although I'd suggest not the RSPCA, they are well known for putting down healthy animals. Maybe contact a vets to see if they can check for a microchip.

Might be worth putting up a few posters or something in the area you found them. I'd be going mad if my dog was missing. Not that the lasy shit ever leaves his chair...

Personally i would look after them, the first six months of there life is really important and how you treat them and teach them will influence how they grow up.

what i mean is that i got oscar at 13 weeks old as a rescue, he had been sold at the normal 9 weeks by the breeder completely house trained and in good health, the 4 weeks that the brain dead cnuts had him ruined him i had to completely re-train him took a good couple of years to get him out of being aggressive and snappy at least 6 months to house train him again, the worst is that they were telling him off for poo'ing in the garden so he was eating his poo in fear and this was the start of his eye problems.

All i am saying is a rescue centre might not be the best place for them, if you cant keep them then you have the oppotunity to find good non chav homes for them.

Thank you all for your help.

I've had a hard day/night with these two.

I'm not much of a dog lover but I may just end up keeping them and train them up well *smiley*

Any tips from the dog lovers out there !

I used to use newspaper. Leave a few sheets in each room they go in and when they squat to wee/poo I either grabbed them and put them on it or moved the paper behind them. Treacle picked it up very quickly. As for sit/stay/lie down I found using treats helped alot, it only took mine about 4-5 goes to learn to sit on command. Treat them right and they will be the most loyal dogs you can get but you must be firm with them.

i used these big pads like nappy material you can buy them from petsmart and places like that, when it goes to the loo chuck the dog on the pad then move the pads outside, when you take them for a walk take them out one at a time its impossible to train two, praise them and treat them when they do the buisness outside, make sure your strong firm and consistant dogs will respect you for being strong and consistant and will not respect you if you scream shout and hit them, this is why chavs dogs are aggressive, when you train them use one words "sit not "sit down" "lay" not "lay down" ect ect it will make it easier for them to learn.

Just bear in mind that there may be a frantic owner out there looking for their missing dogs.

Make sure you contact your local RSPCA and police station to give any perspective original owners the chance of getting there dogs back.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm trying my best to keep hold of them because if I hand them over to RSPCA ect they will be put down.

Took them for a walk today, I was told by someone else who was also walking there dog that 4 puppies were left in the park about 3-4 days ago.

Looks like two are still missing.*oh well*

Training one at a time is the best way - thanks for the other info to.

Thanks for that link, let see how things go.

That's not accurate. The RSPCA will only put down a terminally ill dog or one that has bitten a human. That was certainly the case when I got my dog from them.
