NEW ZEALAND - moving to Australia

hey i have replaced my fuel lines to 8mm feed and 6mm return and a mate of mine has just told me they are to small wat are peoples thoughts ?

could i get away with running 8mm and 8mm, as long as im getting enuff fuel to the carb theres no probs and return doesnt mater that much as its only returning wat i dont use, this is all on a 1034cc turbo engine, im running a nissan rb30de/ holden commy fuel pump if any 1 could help me out would be good as i have already put my lines in dont really want to take them out cheers.:)

We use the standard feed and an 8mm return. You could swap them over to be certain. It's more important to be able to flow the excess fuel away from the regulator to get the pressure right .

I'd be tempted to use the 6mm feed and 8mm return too.

But I used an 8mm feed and 6mm return on my original build and never had an issue.

i would use the 8mm as the return or use 8mm for both which is what i did with no problems and it has been like that for years thats using the std mpi tank and pump

8mm feed and return will be fine.

8mm feed even in low pressure would easily support 4-500bhp.

I think you're safe enough, but stick with 8mm feed and return if you can
