After stripping out the redundant stuff and integrating the megajolt wiring into the loom, I'm now thinking about running it all internally, moving the fuse box inside the car as well to clean up the bulkhead and engine bay area.

Anyone else done this using a standard loom as a basis? I'm thinking of bringing the loom out in the inner wing with a suitable boot and running it down under the brace bar to the front panel and simply pop the cables through grommets for the wiper motor.

am I just making more work for myself or is it worth doing for the appearance??

I've done this with a steel front. Just extended everything by about 6 inches and run the loom through the hole left by the fresh air vent with a grommet. Everything is hidden in the wing.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I've no inner wings so there will be something visible but i can live with that.

Did it on mine mate, definitely worth it, makes for a much more presentable engine bay.

I'll go down tomorrow night and give it some thought then. I want to do it in such a way i can still remove it in one piece

Kean - thats exactly what I'm looking for.

I thought about mounting the EDIS inside but given it is supposed to have a heatsink I thought it would be best where it is (same as Keans). I've drilled the holes now anyway so I suppose I'm commited now

I plan to conseal mine.

If you have no inner wings, you could run the wiring through the side of the subframe where the engine mount bolts go, then up your inner wing/arch area beyond the shhockers and through into the cabin.

I plan to do something similar so put some pic's up when you have done it so that I can steal your ideas *wink*
