I've been thinking.. perhaps turboing a 998 isn't a great idea, the only two reasons I did it was because I had a 998 at the time and I didn't want to get raped for insurance. But by the time she's on the road I'll be 21! So hopefully going on a classic car insurance again and being 21, it'll be cheap. I paid just over £500 for my first year of insurance when I was 18 (been off the road since)

I've already started buying parts and I've got almost all the parts I need to turbo my 998, if I was to buy a 1275 unit would all these things be transferable? T2 and a 12g295 head are the parts I am asking about, the rest should be okay, intercooler, pump, maniflow system etc..

Okay, forget the insurance.. I'm sure that'll be fine. Mainly concerned about the parts.

Hmm *oh well*

12g295 head is a small bore head. Not really suitable for a big bore engine.

The T2 will be fine depending on its spec and what you want from it

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
