I have acquired a brand new (still sealed in the plastic packaging inside the Kent box) camshaft marked on the box as "649 8 port"

Dont know if this is any good on a 5 port or not, but someone will probably tell me !

Is this worth £50 to anyone ?
(plus postage)

I,m near High Wycombe in Bucks if anyone wants to have a look.

as a general rule, 8 port cams are completely different. Inlet and exhaust lobes in different positions

its worth trying the mk1 forum, there are a few chaps on there with ardens and weslake heads.

fingers crossed,

the 649's still a decent profile, and being an 8 port cam it will have been ground on a billet so to buy one new would be a bit of wedge.

No, I,m not into Dutch auctions, so I asked £50 and thats what I,m getting.

I understand its going into a racing Sebring Sprite.
