Hi, I plan on setting my car up at Miglia ride height. Running on the competition cones and Hilos from Minispares.

I am about to shorten the Hilo bolts and was wondering if anybody knows if the aluminium part of the hilo needs shortening aswell.

Thanks

Fastest A Series Mini in the World

leeds/wakefield.

i would just remmove 5mm from the steel threaded male section , this should be enough to allow the car to be lowered sufficiently,

if not you can always remove some from the alloy trumpet ,

You cannot run a Mini at Miglia height on the road. Period.

However, if using new cones, you'll need to remove some from the aluminium trumpet as well.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Tareq is not building a roadcar Vegard *wink*

You will need to remove material from the alu part as well Tareq! I have removed loads to be able to get it low enough.

Some of the migs have the knuckles machined as well i believe. I machined about 5mm off my Hilo's.
