Hi all.

Just wondering if any one could help me I have a set of alloys that I bought without tyres and just wanting to no if there is a way of measuring the alloys to determine the tyre size. (Width-dia- etc)

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers sean

What were they advertised as?

You need to know diameter and width to determine the tyre size.

Might sound, daft but use a ruler or a tape measure. They are usually in imperial sizes (unless they are metro wheels..).

Something like 12" diameter and 5" deep is 12x5. They may be marked on the wheel somewhere.

You need to ignore the outer rim and concentrate on the beads where the tyre sits, this may be of help

Cheers for the link mate -i put the wheel on today and it couldn't fit because of the 4 lips tht hold the alloy in the centre. Would it be ok to have these machined off???

Cheers sean
