In my fleet I have a mk1 golf ex gti now running 40's,I have never been able to get the electronic ignition to work so have been using a 1500cc dizzy with points.The wiring for the electronic dizzy has 3 wires outside 2 are + and - the middle is for hall senser.

Would I be able to wire the dizzy up the same as the mini lucus module as it is about the same age ?????

There are 2 wires on the dizzy, as you say 1 is pos, 1 is neg and the other is signal.

But theres also the control unit which has about 5 wires... and this is connected both to the hall sensor in the dissy and the coil.
