wireing loom problems

i have fited metro turbo engine in my mini mayfair
but i m having problems with wireing loom i dont know what changes need to be made.
i also have got the boost box from the metro but dont know if i should use it or not
technicly i need help to make it work.
any one who knows how to do it?

Have a read through the FAQs. There's plenty to read, but you will find everything you need and feel a lot more confident after.

You will find that The bulkhead box is a necessity to allow room for the turbo, unless you use a different turbo and manifold.

Do you mean the primitive boost controller thingy? If so, get rid of it.

the engine is fited in the car but i don realy know how to do the wiring

For the wiring, it depends on the age/specification of Mini you are trying to fit it to.

Two main differences are whether the Mini had an inertia starter or a pre-engaged one and whether it had a mechanical dizzy or an electronic one.

There are other things too but these fundamentals determine how simple or complex the re-wiring is.

Tell us what the Mini previously had.
