Quick question, how much play is acceptable on internal door hinges?

Im guessing none is the answer but dont know for sure. With them off the door I can wobble them about 1mm or so up and down in both the open and closed positions, with the door mounted to the car it has a bit of play that is most noticable when the door is near to closed.

My guess is that they are fucked and a new set is needed.Has anyone tried the lightweight ones from dsn as i dont want to pay over £100 for a genuine standard set which I will probably drill anyway?

Cheers Ross.

No play should be there. Get some new ones:)

there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.
