Going to get myself a Fibreglass clubman 2 piece front, and fibreglass roof skin soon, want to ask your advice on whos products are best.
I wanted an unbiased opinion, so i havent bothered asking on tmf.

Likewise with Exposed weave carbon, as im tempted to order the bonnet as carbon, and a bootlid.

Thanks.

Got mine from carbon weezel came a little damaged from the box but gave then a ring and there happy to sort it out. Although company's say there carbon fibre most exposed weave stuff is just 1 layer of carbon and a different backing material. Whereas I looked at an arc angels gel one and it was full carbon. It's a but deceiving sometimes.

Are ABS products any good? i can get an FG skin delivered for 160, whereas arc angels roof skin is 215 quid

I got my bonnet from a guy from ebay... redfern1984
it was really well made compared to my front end which I can't remeber who it was from now, the front end wasn't bad though just not as neat as the bonnet.

and the stig on tmf was selling the roof skins for £100 IIRC and £100 to fit, which I thought was rather reasonable

I have to say I have being using Curley For the last 5 years we get parts twice or 3 times a year from him for the Race cars and I have to say the stuff is the best I have seen, I have used some of the stuff out there and the only one that compairs is Carbon Weezel.

Purley IMO

Thanks for the advice, ive ordered a Roof skin off ABS, which will arrive tomorrow. And a 2 piece clubman heavy duty FG front, FG a panels and complete fitting kit from Arc Angels, and they gave me a few quid off stuff :)
Possibly because its a 'bulk' order so to speak, which should arrive next saturday, fingers crossed :)
Both companies have been very good thus far.
Be nice to have a comparison of the fitment between the two, but does anybody have ideas as to who makes the Roof skin for ABS? as they dont make them thierselves.

Cheers.

I spoke to tdk racing about their carbon roof skin and it is all carbon, not just a layer of carbon on the top, so they would get my money, plus its a load cheaper then the others. But my car is function over form though so not overly bothered about the finish.

Well, abs roof came on time and in cracking condition, and i can only say ive been dissapointed with the arc angels so far :( when i recieved my front end, the grille would not fit in the hole, as it was half inch narrower gap on the nearside, there were chips on both corners of the wings, and i only recieved part of my fitting kit, and no a panels. ive tried contacting them MORE than several times and had no replies/no answer, also didnt deliver when i asked them to. So its put me off using them again in the future. Good products as you can expect composites to vary slightly, and a bit of filler and sanding sorted the front end issue out, bonnet was perfect. but the customer service is crap to say the least.
