Just a quick message to let everyone know we have compiled the price lists for the SRE system that was launched at Bingley.

Please either PM me your email address or take a look on www.slarkraceengineering.co.uk in the next day or so for more info.

Feel free to move this tread if i have posted in the wrong section guys. Wasn't sure where to place it.

Thanks again and hope to speak to some of you soon

Looks pretty cool Jonny!

I take it you didn't actually drive your car like that with no IC fitted?

Do you have any RR graphs for this setup?

I'll take that as a no then. There must be one from the RR setup it had to verify the 150lbs.ft. If not what RPM was the figure measured at?

I confess to not being interested in the system, but I think all on here want to see what a well set up supercharged setup will produce.

Yes Ben there will be power graphs for the low boost (7 PSI) high boost (14-15PSI) and the old weber suck through. I thought i had one here (at home) for the high boost setup but i cant find it anywhere. Im going to Slarks tomorrow evening to finalise the drawings so will get a copy of each printed off and post up on here.

Neil showed me the low boost power curves this was making a few months ago, and it really is rather impressive.

On low boost it was reaching 128lbft just after 2000rpm, and holding over 120lbft through to 5k+

Sounded like an absolute animal too!

Right guys

Here are two of the three power graphs i intended to host. But after testing the efficiency of an angle grinder with my index finger, hospital called so only got to scan these!! High boost graph to follow when im back down at Slarks.

They do look odd, but it's just the scaling of torque and bhp are different. Calculates ok.

I'd be interested to see what it does before 2800. Power seems to dissapear at 5k. If it only delivers from 3k, then it's avery narrow power band.

Reasonable power for 7psi though.

The suck through looks well set up and like a nice engine. The blow through looks like it needs a bit more fine tuning. Not bad though.

It needs to be noted that the blow through was in its infancy. There was belt slip, wheel spin at top end and had 1:5 rockers. The high boost setup is the most up to date and is the one i will post up as soon as possible.

Right guys. I'm on form again! IGNORE the last graphs as i managed to totally mess it all up! THESE are the correct graphs. I have also manages to sort the early high boost setup graph although this is not the final one which i shall post up asap. The three graphs are SRE low boost, Weber suck through and 10PSI high boost. On these graphs, the thin line is torque and the thick one is BHP. Also, ignore the figures stated at the bottom of the graphs.

SRE Low Boost System

it also was running with 1
This was suffering from belt slip and also wheel spin from what i can remember. It also had 1:5 rockers and was running without the dump valve.

Weber Suck Through

Taken from the same engine as the blow through systems but running a decompression plate. The new engine built for the blow through setup had the head opened up and dished pistons

Early High Boost System

This figure was taken without much wheel spin or belt slip, with the dump vale but still the 1:5 rockers.

Low boost was about 7 PSI with this high boost graph being about 10 PSI. It does have a 285 cam.
