Hi chaps, I was down with my mate today getting some welding done, anyway, he has borrowed a hand bead roller from McLaren for me to do all the alloy tubes for the rad and intercooler. He is looking to buy one and so I said I'd look on the net for him, but i can't find one anywhere.

The one I had in my hand today was hand held like a pipe cutter and looks like a pipe cutter. It had 3 wheels 1 big 2 small and was all billet aluminium. It comes in a wooden box and a foam insert with some spare bits and size wheels.

If anyone has seen this sort of thing can you steer me in the right direction please, that would be great,.

Thanks
Simon.

There's a small bead roller in this months Practical Classics magazine in the kit section. Costs about £85 from memory (left the mag at work).

Link not working for me, but if that is the one about the Oyster pliers, then get yourself down to your B&Q sharpish, as I found all the Oyster starter kits in the clearance rack at £2 each!!!

The finish is not as nice, but it will certainly be functional!! A very good too to have in the tool box for that quick fix.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
