Is there a diffrence between 1983/84 metro turbo's en 1985 and later metro turbo's?
The Haynes manuel says there is a diffrence, but they don't point out WHAT the diffrence is..
My main concern is..is the loom [or anything electric] any diffrence between the 2..?
I just can't seem to find out what the diffrence is..

My donor car was a [februari 1985 Dutch plates] MG metro turbo..but it could be it's a 1984 model..
In Holland the registration is/starts when the car is reported at the RDW {dvla in UK} and gets it's plates..
Plates belong to the car and CAN'T be taken to another car..
We don't have privat plates or that stuff..Also reshelling is a no go overhere..

So where do i regonise a 1984/83 car and what's the diffrence to a 1985-on car?

Any help welcome.Thanx

Apart from the exterior differences, what I've been led to believe is crank. Later ones have standard 1275 crank.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

The early cars had a module separate to the dizzy. The later cars had the module bolted to the side of the dizzy.

Also the bonnet and head lights where different.
