so i got my car all together and running perfect last night, leant over to rev it on the carb got a shock off the dizzy and engine stalled! fuel keeps flowing out of the carb into the plenum and it wont start! any ideas??? On 5th Jan, 2011 wolfie said:

If you don't have a gauge. Take the dashpot off the carb and keep turnig the pressure down til fuel stops coming out of the jet.

However the above is correct, either get yourself a proper turbo dizzy, one of these 123-tune dizzies or even the tried and tested megajolt. It also sounds like you have a few other problems to sort. Get a fuel pressure gauge and get that set correct. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
